Learning How to Wait on God.

We emptied the apartment. 6 checked bags, 4 carry-ons, 4 personal items, 1 small stroller that is what we will be living off of until the shipment arrives.
We made the flight.
We survived the flight with uncomfortable sleeping positions.
We got picked up by family and arrived at our destination.
We brought home 1 wrong suitcase... the boy's clothes were not there! We returned the suitcase and at this point have waited 5 days and still no bright green suitcase with the boy's clothes.
The jet lag is still rough. But we have been trying to accomplish as much as we can around toddler nap times, figuring out daily meals, getting clothes for the boys, socks and pants for myself, and a few other things. We go to bed late. We wake up early to try to beat the jet lag and also to make room for movement in the morning as a family.
All of this but we still are not sure of some essentials. Where will we live? What job? Or how do we grow these businesses?

I also try to wake up early to talk to my Creator. I look at my hands and I pray, "Lord. Please give me Proverbs 31 Hands, skilled hands willing and able to serve".
There have been many decisions already, although there are so many more to come. But are we waiting for His direction?
How He spoke to Moses and Abraham, even to David... it seems so clear, so direct. I don't hear Him that way. But I 100% know He hears me. Teach me to hear You Lord, and then to do it quickly whatever it is You are saying. Right now... it seems like it is wait. Wait for clear instructions and just work on developing skills in the meantime. Wait, but with the correct heart posture. I read in Jeremiah 17:5,7-8:
"Thus says Adonai: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, and depends on flesh as his arm, and whose heart turns from Adonai... Blessed is the one who trusts in Adonai, whose confidence is in Adonai, for he will be like a tree planted by the waters, spreading out its roots by a stream. It has no fear when heat comes, but its leaves will be green. It does not worry in a year of drought, nor depart from yielding fruit."" -TLV
And in 1 Samuel 12:12,19-20:
"But when you saw Nahash king of the Ammonites marching against you, you said to me, 'No! But a king must reign over us!' - even though Adonai your God is your king... and all the people said to Samuel, "Pray for your servants to Adonai your God, that we would not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil by asking for ourselves a king." Samuel said to the people, "Fear not! Indeed, you have done all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following Adonai, but worship Adonai with all your heart." -TLV
God is directing me even now. He is teaching me how to do the hard things in this moment in my family's life. I must not put my trust in any man. Not my husband, not a realtor or homeowner, not an employer. I must not desire a savior/king/provider, other than the one I already have. God. Elohim. The Creator of heaven and Earth! He is our provider and my King. I must trust Him alone for all of our needs. He gives us everything we need, exactly when we need it. And I thank Him so much for that!
And worship. Father, please teach me how to worship You in a way that is pleasing to you!
There is much to learn. There is much to do. And sometimes that thing to do is simply to wait. To worship Him. To trust Him in the waiting time and remain doing the last thing He told me to do. There are so many decisions that have to be made, but what good would it be to make decisions if they are not fully directed by my Creator? His Spirit would not be with me, not be with my family, and that is not what my family and I need or desire.
Have you had to wait recently? How is the wait going for you?
